About

Textbook

This website is the “textbook” for Art 490: Artists’ Portfolios, Websites & Careers at the School of Art (SOA), College of the Arts (COTA), Long Beach State University (LBSU).

Past, present, and future LBSU SOA students, and artists anywhere, should be able to use these materials to assemble a compelling portfolio and a comprehensive career plan.

The materials are structured to fit LBSU’s 15-week semester schedule. As a student or non-student, you can also complete the steps more quickly if you like.

If there’s a resource you’d like that you don’t find here, let me know and I’ll add it: glenn.zucman@csulb.edu
