Work & Education
- Work Experience, then Education — if you have some relevant work experience.
- Education, then Work Experience — if you have very little experience, or non-related experience. After you do a few projects or have a few clients, you can flip them.
- If you have a lot of work, projects, or clients, you can list them and perhaps just a few words after each to describe what you did.
- If you don’t have a lot of work, you can list what you do have and include a sentence or paragraph with it talking about what you did.
- Education is the same — if you have lots of work experience, you can be brief with your Education section. If you don’t you might like to list relevant classes and add a sentence or paragraph on what you did in that course. You can list Art 490 and talk about the work you made in the class: I created several animation storyboards… I made a series of paintings exploring apartheid… I fabricated wearable art from recycled materials… and so on.
