New flag for the City of Los Angeles

2028 Olympics

Did you hear that The Olympics are coming to Los Angeles in 2028? LA will join London and Paris as the only cities in the world to host the Olympic Games 3 times.

Unloved Flag

Do you know what the flag of the City of Los Angeles looks like?

You don’t?

It turns out a lot of people don’t. Apparently, the Chicago flag is the gold-standard in city flags. Everyone seems to think it’s a great flag. Peeps in Chicago really love their flag. They get flag tats in Chicago. Sometimes when a police officer is killed, instead of the US Flag, their coffin is draped with the Chicago flag.

Not so in LA.

Everybody recognizes the “LA” Dodger’s logo. But not many can recall LA’s “Fiesta Flag.”

A new flag for LA

My prediction is that by the time The Olympics get here in 11 years, LA will have a new flag. So let’s get a head start on it. Let’s design our own proposal now:

Let’s design a new flag for the City of Los Angeles!
