Olafur Eliasson, Reality Projector, 2:57pm

Photo from the dark, cavernous, main gallery at the Marciano Art Foundation (MAF) on Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. The view is away from the main screen of the exhibit and instead looks at the reflection off the colored gells as light scatters back on the back wall of the space in an inspired diffraction patter. Visitors to the gallery mill about, and a couple of them gesture toward the diffraction pattern on the wall.
