B2 Points
All Points through Wk B2 are now up on BeachBoard
After 2 weeks of “B” we’ve had 134 points possible so far. Here’s how many points you should have to be on track for each grade level, and how many peeps are currently on track for that grade:
- 121 points = 90% = on track for final grade of “A” – 72 peeps
- 107 points = 80% = on track for final grade of “B” – 5 peeps
- 94 points = 70% = on track for final grade of “C” – 20 peeps
- 80 points = 60% = on track for final grade of “D” – 4 peeps
- 79 & below = on track for final grade of “F” – 23 peeps
Current overall class GPA = 2.79
As you can see, more than half the class is on track for an “A”. But a big group of people are currently on track for a final grade of “F”. Do not fall behind in this class! Be sure to turn your work in. On time. Not turning work in is the easiest way to do poorly. It’s not too late to start turning everything in and take your grade much higher. But you have to act now. If you wait, it will soon be too late.

Trading Moves
Toward the end of class on Wednesday at the SOA Gallery Courtyard, Taylor & Kaelie, Art 110 Dance Majors, met Alvaro A.S.F., an SOA student in the Painting & Drawing program. Although he’s in the “Painting & Drawing” program, and he definitely works with a lot of paint, Alvaro’s work is unique. He doesn’t call it Performance Art, or Dance, instead he prefers the term Live Art. He’ll be doing some Live Art (with paint, canvas & his body) on Wednesday 10 Oct ’18 at 11:30 am. The location isn’t confirmed yet, but it will probably be in the middle of campus, like near the Free Speech Area.
Taylor, Kaelie & Alvaro traded some moves, including “Chicken Wings”, and had fun.
I encouraged them to get off the concrete and move to a more padded surface! 😛
