Story Description & Significance(Why is it important to SMC)
This semester’s Synapse Dance Theater features 11 works: 4 by student choreographers, 6 by faculty choreographers, and 1 by visiting artist Jay Carlon. Carlon is creating a new work in collaboration with a cast of SMC dancers. His local dance company CARLON has performed numerous site-specific works, often in and around Santa Monica.
