I love this presentation. It’s fun and thought-provoking. Also, it reminds me that I do need to write more — for myself.

      Thanks Bridget!

It’s amazing how fast 45 minutes goes by! I’d hoped to spend more on “Blog More; Live Better” and also on peeps sharing ideas, tips, and how they like to work. That all got a little shortcut as the time blew by!

But anyway, yes, “writing” is a fantastic way of “thinking”. If you try to imagine human beings before “language”, it seems like that would be a less developed state of consciousness. We go through our days running “internal monologues”. Before bluetooth headsets we used to think people who were “talking to themselves” were a little unhinged, but the truth is, we ALL talk to ourselves all the time! Not everyone moves their lips or verbalizes, but we all use language as part of our mental processing.

So Writing/Blogging extends that process of linguistic reality.

Meanwhile… YOU inspired me to look more seriously at Medium. (love that TK feature! I looked for a TK plugin for WP, and I did find one, but it doesn’t work as nicely) I’m starting (soon, I hope) a new website, “Sand And Stars” which hopes to be an LA tips for travelers site. I’m hoping to have things like Art Experiences, or visiting the Channel Islands, etc. Things beyond the usual “Hollywood Blvd & Santa Monica Beach” that all visitors seem to want to do. Anyway, it was going to be a Ghost blog, but I’ve decided to try it on Medium.

      Thanks for everything Bridget!
      What a fun WCLAX ’17!!! 🙂
